We are excited to announce the launch of our latest campaign with LZZR jewelry and Maxwell Poth to benefit Project Contrast! All proceeds from the Tie The Knot x LZZR Jewelry Collection will go to the LGBTQ non-profit.

Project Contrast was originally a photo project created by him, an LGBTQ+ Photographer, to highlight the high suicide rate in his home state of Utah where the leading cause of death for ages 10 - 17 is teen suicide. After growing up Mormon and hearing about the suicide of a young gay mormon boy from his hometown of Bountiful, Utah; Maxwell created his photo project.

The project first involved photographing LGBTQ+ youth in the state of Utah and collecting their stories of what it’s like to be LGBTQ+ where they are from, what they are doing to feel confident in who they are, and then giving advice to other youth just like them.

After publishing the photos and stories via OUT Magazine and The Advocate and seeing the positive outlet it was creating for LGBTQ+ youth the project transitioned into a Nonprofit. Now Project Contrast travels the country working with LGBTQ+ youth, centers and clubs collecting their stories and taking their photos to create a content platform where LGBTQ+ youth across the country can relate to one another and realize they are loved and not alone.

Maxwell has traveled to over 16 states and counting, collecting personal stories and helping end the suicide epidemic within the LGBTQ+ youth community. Learn more about Project Contrast here.
